Background

Richard is a committed researcher, teacher, training and management consultant with over 10 years of experience of education and training, facilitated at leading UK academic institutions as well as voluntary organisations. He has experience of teaching students from various social and cultural backgrounds, with excellent administrative, communication - verbal and written skills along with constructive and effective teaching methods that promote a stimulating learning environment. He has worked as a freelance lecturer and researcher with vast experience in lecturing, publications and supervision of dissertations and theses for BSc/MSc/DBA students.

He also is a Chartered Housing professional with over 19 years’ experience of leading teams, managing and delivering quality projects on time and within budget. He has proven leadership skills with ability to manage, develop and motivate teams to achieve high customer service standards as well as personal and corporate objectives. He has developed project Management skills with ability to analyse and solve problems from different perspectives. He has a ‘can-do’ attitude and is flexible and open to learning and has the ability to continuously contribute new ways of working to achieve corporate objectives.

Academic Interests

Richard has taught on various modules such as Digital Skills and Research Methods, Knowledge and Information Management Skills for Workplace, Developing Relationships and Workplace Achievement. He has also supervised and co-supervised 10 students DBA research.

Research Interests

Richard's research interests include digital government, information systems, organisational change management and leadership and management.
