Visas and Immigration
To study at The University of Wales Trinity Saint David London you need to meet the various visa and immigration conditions required by the UK Home Office.
Well before you intend to travel make sure your passport is valid and that it will remain valid throughout the period of your stay. Check with the United Kingdom's Embassy or High Commission in your home Country to see if you require a visa. If you do require a visa, make sure you apply for it well in advance. You should visit www.ukvisas.gov.uk.
Upon arrival at any entry port in the United Kingdom, you will be required to show your passport at immigration. If you need a visa to study in the UK, You should always have a Tier 4 (general) Student visa in order to study in the UK.

Yes, you will need a visa if you are from outside of the European Union/ European Economic Area. If you are unsure whether you are required to apply for a visa, you can complete a quick questionnaire on the Home Office website - www.gov.uk/check-uk-visa/y
You should apply once you have been issued with a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from the University. You should do so earlier rather than later and no more than 3 months before the start date of your programme.
In order to study at the London Campus of the University you will require a Tier 4 (General) Student Visa.
You will need to meet the following in order to receive your CAS:
- Academic entry requirements for the programme of study
- English language level as required by the University and the Home Office.
- Successful completion of the University’s admissions interview.
- Payment of the full first year’s fee to the University.
- Evidence of finance as stipulated by the Home Office. Your CAS can then be generated and communicated to you.
Finally, if you will be applying for your visa in the UK, you must bring all of your supporting documents to Admissions Office of the London Campus at a date and time specified by the Admissions Office of the London Campus. If the
documents meet the requirements of the University and the Home Office, you will be issued with a CAS.
As soon as you have received your visa you should inform the Admissions Office of the London Campus by forwarding a scanned copy of your visa via e-mail - email@example.com
If you are in your home country, you should make arrangements for your travel to the UK. Please ensure that you arrive in the UK with plenty of time to attend registration.
