This programme will provide students with the opportunity to focus on global industry concerns within the field of international fashion management. It is widely recognised that the global fashion manufacturing and retail industry is rapidly changing and this programme will ensure that those entering into the industry are equipped with the knowledge and understanding of the dynamics and drivers which impact on and shape the fashion industry from pre-production to retail.

Students will critically explore both historic and current fundamental principles and practices which influence and impact on selected parts of the fashion industry. This programme will prepare students to enter into industry at different entry points and times in their career.

The course will be delivered at our London campus through classroom delivery and guest speakers from the fashion industry. Located in the world’s greatest fashion capital, students will be exposed to the latest trends and high-level networking opportunities. The course is also available through online distance learning.

The MBA International Fashion Management programme will equip students with general business management knowledge as well as specialist Fashion Management skills to enable them to excel in their chosen field.

Modules are assessed by coursework. This may take various forms, work-based projects, small research projects, presentations, case study analysis and the final research project/dissertation. Students who are not currently in employment may be able to base their projects on case studies.

Normally, the possession of a minimum of a 2:2 UK first degree or an equivalent international qualification recognised by UK NARIC or work experience of five years at a senior managerial level in lieu of first degree.

English language proficiency at or exceeding an average IELTS score of 6.0 (or equivalent in any other approved test), with no score less than 5.5 in any components of the test.

Normally work experience of two years or more at a managerial or supervisory level is expected.

£500 (reduction of the first year fees) for applicants with 70% or above marks in the qualifying award.

Early bird offer

10 bursaries of £500 each per intake are available to applicants who have submitted complete applications and who have been issued with an unconditional offer letter at least two months before the registration week for their chosen programme. the £500 reduction only applies to the first year’s fee.

The content of the programme is vocationally focused, using real case studies of current organisations. Students are encouraged to share their own work experience and apply their knowledge and skills in creative and innovative ways.

As a result past students have enhanced their career advancement in the private, public and voluntary/not for profit sectors in the UK and overseas. Many graduates have started their own businesses on their return to their home countries.
