UWTSD London is located within Kennington Business Park which is situated at the intersection of Brixton Road and Camberwell New Road. Oval tube station (Northern line) is a 150m walk away providing direct access to Waterloo, London Bridge and The City. There are also numerous bus links direct into The City and Victoria (as well as to Peckham, New Cross and Brixton, which offer a good choice of reasonably priced accommodation to rent). 

The Business Park is adjacent to Kennington Park, a large public park and gardens which hosts a wide variety of events and also offers sports facilities, including tennis, basketball, netball, skateboarding, a fitness trail, and all-weather floodlit ‘Astroturf’ for football and hockey.

The Oval Cricket ground is a five minute walk from the University campus, is home to Surrey Cricket Club and was the venue for the first test match between Australia and England. Though Lords is considered the home of Cricket- the Oval has played an integral part in the history of the game and visitors to the ground can enjoy one of the best preserved Sports arenas in England.

Cultural heritage
London is one of the world’s cultural hubs and well known for its rich history and world famous landmarks: Houses of Parliament, Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace and Royal Gardens. London is also the home of world-class libraries
and museums. It has over 200 museums most of them are free to visit.

London has the most famous shopping stores and streets: Harrods, Selfridges, Oxford Street and Regent Street. London is a world-class fashion centre, where you can find the most famous designs in fashion and jewellery 

Food and entertainment
London has a wealth of top class restaurants, pubs, bars, clubs and cinemas. London’s restaurants offer a wide variety of food and provide a great choice to suit all tastes. The city hosts a vast number of lively outdoor events, festivals and carnivals and offers a fantastic nightlife.

Transport and travel
London operates an excellent public transport system; this enables you to travel easily in and around the city. The underground and national rail networks connect London with the rest of the country. London’s five international airports and international rail terminal provide convenient access to Europe and the rest of the world.

Oval (Northern Line): 3 minutes walk from this station and 5 minutes walk from Oval Cricket Stadium.

Cross the road, walk towards Brixton Road, enter Kennington Park and the campus is located at Winchester House within the park.
